They'd say I'm great, because they're my best friends. What would your best friends say?

PHILOSOPHY

I think we live an existence balanced on the brink between reality and unreality, trying sometimes desperately to reconcile the two before one or the other does away with all that we hold true with. I think power is a trick, a shadow on the wall, but I read about Plato's cave. I think the serpent is long, but there is no escaping the fact that we are caught in one great, closed loop. I think the sky is blue, the leaves are green, except in Canada where they are red.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Someone showed up on my couch one day. 'How did you get here' I asked. 'Couchsurf, dude' they said. 'Cool' I said.

Interests

I paint (too slowly!) and I draw, and sometimes I write crappy poems that nonetheless I feel really good about and am inordinately fond of. Perhaps some of the best poems in the universe have been crappy poems, at some point.

I care about the world. I want to wrest control from the powerful forces of corruption and maliciousness that make our world a vile place. I want to grow food for myself, take care of people around me, and create community.
