CURRENT MISSION
to revolutionize urban transportation
ABOUT ME
I'm American but lived and traveled quite a bit. currently living in Copenhagen for the past few years. I am right now working as a PhD student researching why in the heck Danish people ride bikes so much. Actually, oddly enough, I'm studying why they don't ride them enough.
PHILOSOPHY
there are too many complex problems to solve in the world. pick the biggest, nastiest ones you are inspired to work on and dedicate yourself to solving them in whatever capacity you have.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
stayed on the floor of a tibetan reincarnate lama during a 3 day harvest festival. slept on the floor with a piece of wood for a pillow and yak skin for a blanket. he was a bit of a punk little 8 year old brat. didn't seem so holy yet...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
witnessed the collapse of the ecuadorian currency, smuggled myself into tibet, dodged terrorist threats in kurdistan, hitched through europe on USD$10 a day (in the 90's), built stoves out of mud for people in nicaragua, and wrestled tigers in the indian jungle. well, no, not that last one.
