Born in the '80s. Raised in France. Studied physics and biology at the University of Washington while working as photographer and editor for the school's daily newspaper. Snorkeled rivers to map fish for the U.S. Geological Survey, then tracked tidewater glacier retreat with time-lapse photography for a PhD at the University of Colorado. Now I work at the World Glacier Monitoring Service in Zürich, ride trains and bicycles, climb mountains, and forage (fallingfruit.org) and photograph (weltyphotography.com) my way through the world.
