ABOUT ME
All about me?
Most would say I am a pretty relaxed, easy-going guy, just likeh 99% of CS'ers right...?
I was born in a tiny town in Quebec and when I was 13 my family moved to Vancouver Island.
I am currently living on Vancouver Island with my girlfriend Karina McLaughlin. We just bought our first house! It's a bit of a fixer upper, but the work is super satisfying and it complements my job as an on-call paramedic perfectly. The house can be pretty overwhelming at times but I appreciate the challenge and it makes for great learning opportunities.
I've been working as a paramedic for two years now. I love it, and if we meet up I can tell you all about it. It's a great job but I'm still trying to find a good lifestyle/exercise/work balance.
I have been inactive on CS for a few years now, but I figure this month long trip through Croatia and Slovenia is a great time to get back into it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started Couchsurfing back in 2009 and had so me life changing experiences and have made some amazing friends along the way. Six years later, one of my first CS hosts is going to be one of my groomsman in my wedding this summer. How cool is that?
So far I've had 100% amazing CS experiences. My trip in 2009 summer would not be half as awesome without CS, and I hope to continue having great experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books
Too many good movies out there to simply list... if we meet up we can chat about movies.
As far as music goes, I listen to whatever someone else decides to put on.
I don't read as much as I should, but I definitely enjoy a good book once in a while.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Some unreal hiking in the mountains in Jasper and Banff National Parks, as well as the west coast of Vancouver Island - I consider myself to be pretty fortunate to live in such a beautiful part of the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
So far I'd say I've learned the most simply by talking to people...
