Solaris and "Robotermärchen" (Stanislaw Lem)
"Foucault's Pendulum" (Umberto Eco, i like the way he mixes history with fiction)
"Zündels Abgang" (Max Werner) (actually it is too long to really remember this one - so maybe i don't like it anymore ;)
And: Panait Istrati - it is a pleasure reading his vagabond-stories as well as it makes my hearth laugh to discuss about him with my close friend pesef.

"Medicine Stories" from Aurora Levin-Morales - one feminist approach i can fully agree with.
"One NO, many YESES" - Activism, can be entertaining and useful the same time.
after a very long time of searching i finally read "Science, Peace and Liberty" by Adouls Huxely - and i am very happy
