Overview
About Me
I'm a newly graduated student of Anthropology who's taking a year of studying to travel with his friend to China.
I love to meet new people, share a drink and talk about our own great questions in life. I love to explore new places and ways of living an everyday life - and recently the natural environments have evoked my interest more and more. That is why my friend and I are taking a big trip out in the world. We have been planning the trip the past three years and aim to travel through Eastern Europe, Western Asia, Central Asia, East Asia, and finish in Southeast Asia with a plane back home to Denmark in April 2025. During this time, we aim to learn as much as possible from the people we meet, have fun, and experience some amazing things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Curiousness comes easy to me, and I've always rather wanted to meet people living and working in the places I travel to rather than (just) other touristes and travellers like myself. Through my studies in Anthropology, I've learned that people live, experience and understand the world in many different ways. I'd like to get to know some of them before I continue my studies and specialize myself.
In short, I really want to hang out with and get to know new people!

Music, Movies, and Books
I looove jazz funk. But I find the beauty in (almost) every genre of music from classical to folk to afrobeat to rock'n'roll to today's newest pop hit.
I think I'm quite influenced by American pop culture in general. I'm a big Star Wars fan, I've seen almost every Marvel film and TV show, and I'm currently trying to watch as many of the great pictures, like Shawshank Redemption, Bladerunner, and Pulp Fiction. But I really do love the Japanese Studio Ghibli and the childish, curious, and forgiving vibe those films give. I'd love to watch more movies and listen to more music from other countries than the US.
I recently read American-Nigerian Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's "Half of a Yellow Sun". Brilliant book! Otherwise, I really like American Dan Brown's "Da Vinci Code" and non-fictional works like "Factfullness" by the Swedish doctor Hans Rosling or "The Dawn of Everything" by the American anthropologist David Graeber and British archaeologist David Wengrow.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've played Clarinet in a marching band half of my life. I don't know if its amazing but it definitely was an experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a lot of fun facts about different cultures, history, religion, and such. But I think I'm mostly couchsurfing to learn from other people - especially the people's favourite song. We're making a playlist to remember people by :D
What I Can Share with Hosts
Me and my friend can share our kindness, our curiousness about their way of living, our time, and our wishes to hang out and help in the household if needed.
PS: My friend has a Bachelor's degree in Medicine, so if you have any medical questions you can save the doctor's bill and ask him instead ;)
