About Me

About 4 years ago I had an eye opening experience travelling and it changed my outlook on life. My goal now is to travel and see as much of the world as possible. I want to learn life skills from the people I meet along the way. I want to focus on the present moment, and really make the most of my experiences. I think I am a lover of life, spontaneous, friendly, and open to whatever opportunities come my way. I am enjoying meeting new people, experiencing new foods, cultures, seeing all the beautiful landscapes and all the changes that come within as a result of that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think couch surfing is an amazing way to discover/explore places through the eyes of a local. I am new to the site but I have been couch surfing for the last 3-4 years visiting friends while travelling. I have had the privilege of seeing and experiencing so many things thanks to the kind hearts of people I have met along the way. I look forward to all the new, amazing experiences I will have as I get to connect with people all over the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

4 Years ago I needed a change and booked a bike and boat tour through the Baltic islands. I bought a ticket to Germany 4 days prior to my trip. I took only a small clip on bag as my carry on and my bike was my luggage. I spent a month riding through parts of Europe. It was such an amazing feeling to wake up in a different place everyday and knowing that I was getting around only as far as my legs peddled me in such striking scenery. I stayed in hostels for the first time and heard other people tell their travel stories. This trip became my catalyst for all the future trips to come. I love all the trips I have taken, but this trip was special because it marked a beginning, and would prove to flip my life in a complete 180. I am so appreciative of the people I met then that helped guide me and the positive imprint they left on my life..

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help people who are trying to learn English, as I taught it last year. As for learning, I am up for any guidance or skills that hosts may have. I am really up for anything.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love cooking vegetarian meals, I can help in a garden, exchange travel stories over a beer or glass of wine, create artwork.
