Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm just about to begin a walking road trip between Ancona and Orvieto, by the Coast to Coast way. I'll travel alone. I'll be with my tent, but I'd like to have an immersive experience with Italian people, at least a little. I'm been learning Italian for almost a year, and I'm really looking forward to try it with Italian people. I have already been twice in Italy (2010 and 2019). This will be only my second walking roadtrip, after a part of the way of Saint James.
I'm really excited and a bit afraid, too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Way of Saint James, 2023, between Le Puy en Velay and Figeac. It was a wonderful moment. After my boyfriend left me, I needed to walk alone. I walked 2 weeks and learned that I can be alone and everything will be all right. And, in fact, I was never alone, I met so many fantastic people. That was really and great adventure and I know this is how I want to spend my holidays.
