About Me

20 years old, from Germany with portuguese roots. Just finished school and now spending my time with music and esports before i begin with my studies in Business Administration.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Originally, I used to Couchsurfing for a school project. I was writing a work about the life of street musicians and wanted to do a self-experiment. Unfortunately, the weather was not on our side, so the experiment never happened.
Now I'm looking for more possibilities to meet new people and maybe also organize a backpack tour.

Interests

I've played football for some years but had some problems with my shoulder. therefore, i had to stop and since then i focussed on music and esports. currently i'm managing an esports organisation and really enjoy the work with the people who share the same passion: gaming.
another passion of mine is music. i play the guitar and also sing. when the weather's fine, i use to go outside and busk in smaller cities of our region. it's a great experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to pretty much but especially alternative rock, indie and also metal. favourite bands and artists: AnnenMayKantereit, Frank Turner, Green Day, Hozier, Story of the Year, Nirvana, Passenger, Eddie Vedder/Pearl Jam

I don't really read too much. same thing applies to movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once i was busking in Heidelberg where making music is only allowed on certain spots. I went to one of these spots and waited for another busker to finish his session. as he did, i stood up to begin with mine but then i noticed that i wasn't the only one waiting to play there. he was a man around his 50s and played the saxophone. we decided to play together and he shared his notes with me. although i struggled a lot with the polka music, it was really fun.
i think that's just a great example of how great music is and how it can bring people together!
