ABOUT ME

Traveling is my life. This doesnt mean I wouldnt do anything else, still there are a lot of other things worth in life, friends and people, love and also your everyday life. But I experienced feeling the greatest satisfaction is just possible being out there in the world, regardless if on somebody's couch or up on a mountain top.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I’ve always admired the guys travelling the world taking the road off the beaten track – hence, finally I joined this exquisite club and started travelling: South America, Down Under, North Africa, India, and good old Europe. Now that I am back and settled somehow I want to give back the feeling people have given me all around the world. In my life, I am looking for some of the rare good people on the world and I’ve learnt that there is a higher deal of them among fellow travellers. So come see me and my friends, Max - whom I had the honour to travel with the last years and on the road to India - and Friederike – who has seen the whole of Europe since she was young and is still hungry for the world! We continue our idea of a “Home On The Road” - stay for a day, a night or a month, just as it works out for all of us!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Found great people in Praha, Bratislava, Hungary, Romania and also Germany, India and Istanbul! Now that I begin to settle it's time to pay back the good to all the folks still travelling around: Come to our couch in Berlin!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The beauty of the moment becomes most prominent in the sharp light of the setting and rising sun: At cape Reinga in NZ, on the mountain top of Piatra Craiului, Romania, at 4 am climbing on 5400m in the Himalaya or simply lokking over the sea on a rocky island of Stockholm's Skärgarden - this feeling of completeness is rare and it's best to have shared those moments with my love, Friederike, and my best friend Max

Teach, Learn, Share

One important thing I've learned on my latest journey: You not only draw something from being hosted, but it is a pleasure for people to give and let you as a traveller be part of their life. You can even give back while you are surfing, not only when you will be back in your own flat hosting yourself!
