A Mexican ex-pat in Amsterdam trying to fit in her big girl pants. I have a background in Education and Travel, often combining both passions. I've been very fortunate and blessed and I try to live a life that reflects my gratitude for that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been a part of the CS community on and off for years. I'm trying out a new approach after hearing news of women traveling alone, having not so great experiences. If you are a solo traveling woman and you need a friendly face to help you navigate Amsterdam, please contact me!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted in my home back in Mexico, but mostly I've used CS as a platform to meet people in my travels, and in theirs. I have met some interesting people, some I would like to forget and some who have jumped to the category of friends.

Interests

Hobbies: Baking, cooking, running, dancing, reading, bike riding, and of course, traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: my taste in music is quite..extensive and pretty random! It goes from Metallica to Broadway scores, with a bit of Gilberto Santa Rosa and Al Green in the mix.

Movies:
Como agua para chocolate, mean girls, la grande seduction, les choristes, the conjuring.

Books: A song of ice and fire saga, the book thief, crime and punishment, the help.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rescuing animals in need and seeing them get new homes!
Scuba diving in Cozumel, watching stingrays, eels, and all sorts of amazing sealife.
Living, partying & rocking!
