Hi!
My name is Fabian, I'm 28 years old. (Facebook: Fabian Clad)
I just finished my studies and now I'm happy to take a few months off for traveling around South America and the Caribbean.

My mother was Norwegian, so I practically grew up with sailing on our small sailing boat in Norway. I travel there every year to go on a trip with friends and family. I love the sea and now there is nothing more beautiful and liberating to me.
This year, I will be participating on a sailing trip across the atlantic starting from Martinique back to Europe, Lissabon.
I'm happy to travel around Brazil and I would also love to get to know some parts of Martinique, before the long journey starts! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I grew up with 5 siblings and I always loved being in company and meeting new people. After Living abroad for more than 3 years, I became very sociable.
To me, couchsurfing is the best opportunity to get in touch with locals and visiting new places!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's the first time, I'm travelling alone. I actually enjoy not knowing where I'm gonna be tomorrow or even the place you're heading to. You forget about time and any kind of stress.
I'm thankful for having met so many great and exciting people on the way! It's been awesome!!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I worked as a Kite Instructor at Surfers Island, Fuerteventura for 3 months. I love Kitesurfing and it's huge fun to me teaching this sports and sharing the joy :)
I usually travel with all of my Kite Equipment and I'd always be motivated to teach during the stay!
