About Me
Hi all, I'm Fabian and I'm a psychologist for organisational development. Not some friend of self-praise, so I'm quoting people that would describe me as sympathic, open minded and a pleasant dialogue partner.
Everything else will get updated soon as I haven't been active for a longer time. Traveling wasn't so easy the last years
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The best way to overcome your weakness is by facing it. As I'm a shy person, who usually needs to be adopted by an extrovert to make new friends, I have decided to break that ice by dragging myself in those situations. I'm looking forward to meeting new people and get/stay in touch with them and especially to share our interests, dreams or just some cooking recipes.

Music, Movies, and Books
Usually I'm listening to metal but do listen to everything else, too. If a song includes a bagpipe or a hurdy gurdy, I'll immediately fall in love with it. Aside from metal, celtic music or any kind of (movie/game) soundtracks is on my usual playlist.
Movies... well, I'm not watching movies, neither in the cinema nor via internet as I get bored easily with plane plots. Still, if there's a good one, I will gladly watch it.
From time to time, i will read a lot of books in a short time which will be followed by a period, where I don't even touch one. Lately, I'm about to write my own story so there is no room left for any other book :P
Teach, Learn, Share
Sharing is great and I think this will happen subconsciously. Whether discussing about philosophical questions, telling some stories about your hometown or your country or what you're doing in your free time - sharing is the best way to get to know the other person.
Teaching... well, I can tell some story about myself too or try to answer questions regarding psychological stuff but I wouldn't consider this as "teaching" but sharing :).
What I Can Share with Hosts
Honestly I haven't had any experience on my own so I can only tell in theory. Cooking, sharing stories, baking traditional German bread or teaching some swabian words are some things that come to my mind.
