Overview
About Me
I'm a physics student from Dortmund, Germany.
I love to play the guitar, which is why I take mine on every journey. Currently I'm also learning the saxophone and would like to get a little bit more into drumming and playing the trumpet.
An even more important point in my life is travelling. After I finished highschool I travelled through South America with a friend of mine, with next to no money and a simple tent in our backpacks, in order to get to know the continent and it's people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet locals in the areas I'm visiting, since they always have special stories about all the different places I'm seeing. And to get a place to stay if possible.
When I'm back home I want to be a host to the people coming here.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: More or less everything, but I'm always looking out for new music to listen to.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In Amsterdam I've seen a man playing the alto saxophone under a street lamp at the docks in the warm summer breeze. His music embodied all the beauty and love but also all the loneliness of the world for me at that moment.
What I Can Share with Hosts
When I'm visiting someone I think I can tell him/her a few stories about places in his country he/she hasn't seen so far, to show him the beauty of even the most simple places
