Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined couch surfing a few years ago because I wanted to go beyond the usual touristy travel experience. Though things kind of kept working out just fine so I ended up never really using my account. I decided that its about time to change that! Looking back, playing football with locals, joining a yoga class, going on a concert or having a chat over a coffee with strangers listening to their stories ended up being the most memorable moments during my travels. So I though why not put these experiences at the center of my future travels? And well to be honest, I am young and I need the money :D

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a big fan of funky house music like Session victim or Bellaire. So if your down to hit the dance floor I am your guy ;) Apart from that I mainly listen to stuff like Bonobo, Four Ted, FKJ or TOPS. Usually, I try to go on a few concerts while I am traveling so your always welcome to join.

When it comes to movies I am really into everything by Jim Jarmusch (If you haven´t heard from him you got to check out Coffee and Cigarettes). If I manage to escape the Netflix void, I read pretty much everything I can put my hands on. In the end though there is nothing better than Harry Potter (or Transmetropolitan if you are more into comics)!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I managed to throw an empty coconut-milk-can from the hall across the kitchen-counter into the recycling bin last week.
