I'm a quite active person with lots of interests. I always try to make the best of my spare time. And usually it works ;)
I like to meet my old friends but I´m always happy to have some new (smiling) faces around. For me that's the main reason to join CouchSurfing!
I would consider myself as friendly, spontaneous and open minded.

Currently I neither surf nor host. I made lots of friends by CS. Great experience!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Until now I didn´t surf. But hosting was always great!!! I joined some very good meetings of the Darmstadt CouchSurfing group. A good chance to meet great people.

I like almost all kind of music. Some of my favourites are Fanta4, Doors, Metallica, Air, Peter Fox, Seed, Gentleman, Chili Peppers, Stones, Patrice
I love live music from punk to jazz.

Got no TV!

Movies: Into the wild, lord of the rings, as far as my feet will carry me, inception, shrek, life of brian, touching the void, blues brothers, the beach, 8 miles high, welcome to the sticks, tremors ;-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saw wild orang utan, sharks and giant turtles in Malaysia. Drinking sweet tea with local peole in Senegal and watching the "ataya" ceremony. Sleeping in a tent in pyrenees during a thunderstorm, a very scary night. Hiking through Lapland mountains with food for 2 weeks inside the backpack. Being surrounded by aggressive baboons. Great party night in Sofia, Bulgaria. I hiked through the Costa Rican Jungle in search for the Tapir. Bathing in a frozen lake (after sauna). Sunrise over temples of Angkor, woooow.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you Darmstadt and surroundings or instruct you to the basic skills of rock climbing or mountain biking. I have equipment for a 2nd climber and a very simple mountain bike I can give you.

Some day I would like to learn guitar playing and 3rd language (Spanish??). Oh, learning white water kayaking would be great.
