I had an amazing experience when I lived in Portugal and traveled around to different countries. I am very thankful for everyone that hosted me during my study abroad time. Each one of them added something special into my life; kind words, trust, taking their time to show me around and introducing me to friends. I hope to be able to do the same to others.

I am a dietetic intern at WVU medicine and my next 10 months will be a little crazy (from September 2016 to June 2017), but hopefully I will be able to take the chance and host a few times if possible.

I just moved here from NC so I am not familiar with the area, but I can try and show you or guide you to good spots.

I try to eat healthy, but when traveling around I just want to try everything that looks good and also the typical dishes from each area. What is the point of traveling if I can't learn about the culture :) oh yeah except meat. I am a vegetarian and have been for over 15 years, so no fish, meat or chicken for me.
I don't mind people eating it in front of me though. I became a vegetarian when I was 15.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I experienced great people hosting me all over. It was my first time adventuring on my own in a country where I didn't know one single person. Well other than the US. It was scary, but also I have enjoyed all the people that I have met so far and only have wonderful things to say about them. We even planned to meet again after our amazing journey was over.
I made great friends and keep in touch with most of them.

I think it is a good opportunity to meet new people and learn their story. I am not travelling anymore due to my internship, but would like to host others . Please, my place is not a free place to stay. The same way I connected with my hosts when I stayed with them and spent time with them I expect the same from guests. Learn about me and mention something that you liked about my profile and why you chose me to stay with.

Interests

I love to dance and music of course hehe there is not dance without music. I enjoy live music. I love languages and I like to learn new ones. Since I got to Europe I have a bigger interest in taking pictures...I have taken some amazing ones. I even cant believe I took them sometimes, but of course the beauty of the place does the trick.

I love tea and I like to try new ones. I never add sugar so I can really taste its flavor.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music... and love to find new ones.
I prefer electronic to dance to.

I will not watch horror movies (never), love action and comedy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing is returning to Brazil and visiting my grandmother and brother. Seeing her smile once I arrive after so long is one of the most amazing things I can see.

Move to the U.S alone at the age of 21 and built my life on my own and support myself through school with no loans. I graduate May of next year yayy ( life can be though, but what would be the fun of achieving a goal if it was given easily )

I worked in a hospital with patients and some patients have no family around. They are already in a situation that is not so pleasant. When I got to their room I always smiled and try to talk a little. I liked making a difference
