ABOUT ME

I am a 23 years old student normally studying in Dresden. Since the beginning of september i am living and studying in Istanbul, Turkey for one year. I think I`m a friendly and open-minded guy, always trying to learn more about different lifestyles and cultures and easy-going when meeting new people. I have an older brother, who`s often on the road with me and a twin-sister, I like being outdoors, swimming and playing football and basketball.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In march 2011 me and a friend hitchhiked and couchsurfed through the netherlands. It was my first CS-experience and it was just amazingonce me and my flat-mate will hostet 12 people from berlin in our two-room appartment(only 55m²), this was great fun.
In october 2014 i surfed in israell, visiting different cities like tel aviv, haifa and jerusalem.

Interests

I`m very interested in politics, trying to understand how it works and how I, as a single person, am able to engage me to change things. I like reading, especially modern literature and political literature. Right now I`m reading a book about the woodstock-festival (it must had been so awesome!!).Furthermore I like being outside (most near the sea or lakes), playing B-Ball or football with my friends or, and thats my favourite outdoor activity, juggling.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite film is "the big lebowski" by Jole and Ethan Coen, also qiet cool are Forrest Gump,the german films by Detleff Buck (Same Same but different and Herr Lehmann).I like dancehall, reggae and hip hop (favourite band: Irie Revoltes. Favourite books: "Tintenherz"-trilogy by Cornelia Funke and "Ansichten eines Clowns" by Heinrich Böll.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing situation in nature I had 2009 in Florida. I was in a small bay and saw free dolphins, whales and manatees, this was amazing!
