My name is Fabien and I'm from Annecy in the French Alps.

On March 20th, 2026, I’m starting a full gap year to travel solo across the planet - slowly, intentionally, and without taking a plane. I’m leaving on a long journey toward Asia, starting by bike from Milan to Brindisi along EuroVelo 5, then continuing through Greece and onward to Central Asia.

I work in the renewable energy sector and my favorite hobbies include cycling through the mountains or hiking around Annecy. Music is also a big part of my life. I’ve been playing the flute for over 10 years, and I’m traveling with it. Music is a universal language, and I love sharing it.

I’m respectful, curious, and always happy to share experiences, stories from the road, a meal, or help around if needed.
