About Me
Professional hitchhiker, eternal kid, relationship builder and businessman on good days :)
I love meeting new people, discovering new places, trying new things... In a word : Learning.
I'm an eternal student of life, always in for new challenges !
I'm French and grew up in France but I took the opportunity to live in a new country each year during my studies. So I see myself as a citizen of the world.
After starting my own import-export company in Florida which made me go back and forth between France and USA (in 27 different US States), I lived in Australia for almost 2 years.
I now found what really drives me, and I'm passionate about relationship marketing, knowledge economy and personal development.
That's why, as strange as it may sound, my "job" is to travel (only if I want), and get paid :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I used to meet people directly in real life, so I haven't done much of couchsurfing by the past. However, I started using it seriously in Togo, Taiwan and Canada because I stayed in these countries for a while.
CS is a place full of great people ! I used to host a lot, especially in Lausanne, Montréal and Melbourne ! Loved it !
I'm really interested in others and love to help. I think that sharing and relationships are the quintessence of life.
Interests
Travelling of course. Especially when it's long periods. I've been to about 40 countries so far.
Solving mathematic issues and riddles, chess, being lost in nature, outdoor activites, thrills and crazy things like skydiving and bungee jumping, guitar, partying, unusual things and surprises... "The extraordinary lies in the path of ordinary people" (Coelho)
I love animals ! Having pets is definitely a plus when I search a couch ;)
I like to keep an eye and stay posted on Politics, Finance, Degrowth, Earth, Sociology, and what happen in this world, to understand how it works. I can spend whole days on internet reading texts and watching videos on serious matters about that !
I love thinking about this world and let myself go to every trend of thoughts that keep life exciting !
I play classical and electric guitar but nothing very serious about that... Just a hobby. I'd really like to learn piano. The only thing I need is a piano (especially somewhere to put it!), it would be a good start :D
And also, very important : I love pizza, french wine, french cheese... well, France !
