Hey everyone!:D My name is Fabienne and I'm 22 years old. I've had this account for a long time (because I've always wanted to try couchsurfing and hosting people from all over) but because I was quite busy studying it never really worked out. I just finished school in 2018 and came to Australia on a working holiday in April 2019 and I absolutely love it here! My plan is to travel along the west coast soon as I am currently near Perth and I hope that I can finally make use of this account (and give back once I'm back home☺😁🤗) I would love to meet locals, fellow travellers and connect through here :) I have done couchsurfing once before but that wasn't through this app and I had a fabulous experience! I just love being surrounded by people and exchangig stories, there's so much to learn from one another :) I hope that me not having any references yet doesn't put anyone off, I'd love to start somewhere 😀

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is a great way to travel the world and get to know awesome people (you) :D Since I can remember I've always had a thing for different countries and cultures, the thought living somewhere else and stepping out of my comfort zone is super exciting to me. It's so much fun learning how other people in other countries are brought up and yet we are all the same :) I have always wanted to host people but still living at home made it a bit difficult, I love meeting people and just talking over a beer or two. (Or cider, I love cider). I'm super interested in other people's lives because I think it's incredibly what stories people have to tell. I love listening to that 😁

Interests

I love love looooove learning new languages, my next goal is to become (hopefully) somewhat fluent in spanish :D I also love to play video games (especially guild wars and legend of zelda) and read books. I enjoy meeting new people and socialising (if you can call that a hobby🤣).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled to south korea as an exchange student when I was 15 which was an incredible experience.

I worked for a company in western australia just recently for the grain harvest which has taught me a lot of things and I would have never been able to do a job like this back home. It was super interesting, very hot and dusty and I loved it. I got to develop impressive sweeping skills🤣

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer my incredible dancing skills for you to laugh at. Just kidding, I'd be more than happy to cook something from back home if you'd wish! I don't want to be a hassle at all and if there's any cleaning to do I'd be glad to be of any help. I am just super grateful in general if someone welcomes me into their home so I always leave everything clean and tidy 🙂
