Hey there😊

I am Fabienne a 20 year old girl from Germany and currently busy travelling on my Gap Year until I'll start studying International Business next September.
Last summer I finished high school and ever since then I've been travelling, doing volunteer projects in Greece, London and Iceland.
And now I've decided to go interrailing through Europe with my best friend (Lina). We wanna discover the gems of Europe together, get to know different cultures and meet new people.
In my free time I usually play the piano, do archery, like being outside, hang with my friends and play with my dog and of course I've absolutely loved travelling ever since I've done an exchange year in New Zealand some years ago.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friend and I just love meeting new people and get to know more about other countries and cultures. That's why we think doing Couchsurfing while we're travelling Europe is a great opportunity to do exactly those things and meet the locals🤗

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music I enjoy Pop music and Musicals a lot.
One of my favourite books is The Song of Achilles, because I really like books that are based on history or mythology.
And when having a look at movies I can't really say which one is my favourite because I enjoy a lot of them. My favourite genres are probably Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Action and historic Drama though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One recent thing that I've done, that I thought was absolutely amazing, was my project in Greece, where I was part of a Sea Turtle Protection Society, helping out little baby sea turtles and even seeing fully grown ones in real life. Just working and living outdoors and knowing that want you're doing has a genuine impact was absolutely incredible🐢

Teach, Learn, Share

Absolutely love learning other languages and teaching other people the ones I speak. I also think meeting people from different cultures is a great opportunity to learn about each others home countries and share all sorts of things like different dishes or traditions.
