About Me

Hi you all!
I'm Fabio, 29 years old and after work for 8,5 years in financial planning I decided it was time to stop and think my life over. 2017 it's the year (not the whole year, unfortunatelly) that I will be wwoofing on Europe to learn a little bit more about organic farms.
I live in São Paulo, Brazil and I am attending the second year of History course in São Paulo's University (USP). I gratuated in Economy in 2012.
I really love music, books and movies of any kind. Like to hang out with diferent people and chat.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I decided that besides learning about organic farming I really want to connect with real people on this trip (when I say real people I am saying people that live and experience the city). That's why I think couchsurfing is the best option considering that I won't have much time in each city (due to European visa for Brazilians). I really want to avoid hostels that is basically other tourists, I like this kind of experience, but is not what I am searching right now.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like a lot of different musics and I am always open to explore new sounds. I really love Bob Dylan, but I also listen to Pop, Brazilian music, Electronic music and rock of different kinds.
I have an similar idea for movies, any style please me since the movie is good. I have to say that it is not every Hollywood movie that excites me, but sometimes I like to watch those movies as well.
I really like to read. Now that I'm studying againg I don't have much time for novels, but my favorite writers are Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Machado de Assis and José Saramago.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's hard to say only one thing, not that my life has been a crazy adventure, but I think there were incredible things in so many ways. I would have to say that most of this moments are connected to travels. In 2010 I backpack in Europe for 3 months and went to almost every country, it was an amazing experience. I also have travel a bit in South Amrica: Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Bolivia. Saw the glaciars in the Patagonia and rode a downhill bike on Death Road in Bolivia.

Teach, Learn, Share

I really like history and cultures and I think this is one of the most incredible thing to share btween humens. It opens our minds and help us to understand the others and create empathy.

What I Can Share with Hosts

On the pratical side I'm always willing to help on house duties like cleaning ans dishes, or whatever is needed. Unfortunaly I don't know how to cook, but I can help with the chopping and preparation of foods.
