Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing offers great opportunities to meet new people and make experiences which wouldn't be possible if you simply stayed at a hotel.

We both love getting to see places through the eyes of those who live there instead of having the traditional “tourist experience.”

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to books I really enjoy biographies of people I find inspiring (Matthew McConaughey, Andrew Carnegie, etc). I also enjoy personal development books and my favorite fiction book series is The Hunger Games.
Hadley enjoyed reading The Great Gatsby and The Book thief.

Hadley and I both love movies of all kinds. My favorite movie is probably Grown Ups and Hadley’s favorite movie is the Lorax which we watched way too many times.

We both love music! Hadley knows the lyrics to more songs than any other person I’ve ever met and she has a really great voice and likes to sing just not in front of people. We both enjoy Country, but we listen to all kinds of genres. I really enjoy old songs and singers like Frank Sinatra, Elvis, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled all around the coastal US all the way to New Zealand and Europe after I graduated from Highschool. Hadley graduated from college 2 years early to start her marketing career, snorkeled in Honduras, spent 24 hours on a bus to have 6 hours in Paris, and camped in a teepee off-grid outside of Big Bend National Park for a weekend.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm more than willing to share all my experiences with new people and really excited to listen to theirs! If someone wants to learn some German I'm excited to help! My Italian is not perfect but since I'm half Italian and surrounded by it a lot, I can definitely help with that a little, too.

Other than languages, Hadley and I are both well educated in marketing and love brainstorming new ideas to improve small companies and campaigns. We both enjoy photographing and editing as well and would be more than happy to share those skills.
