About Me

Hi, I am Fabio, 18, italian guy currently living in Netherlands (Nijmegen, Gelderland) . I am currently studying psychology and had a previous experience in artificial intlligence. I am really curious about every kind of cultural difference that could make my life luggage bigger.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is basically the service that mixes the two things that I love the most: staying with locals (understanding another way of living) and it gives me an unique opportunity to practise the languages that I am learning (dutch and spanish).

Apart from that this service offers the opportunity to stay on people couch for a few days, and, let's not be hypocritical, that is a very convenient way of touring around (both economically and for the experience that this experience really gives you).

Music, Movies, and Books

I always try to broaden my tastes in music in particular and in art in general, so I cannot say to listen just to a genre of music but recently I have been listening to a lot of gypsy music, jazz, swing, electro-swing and something of rock. I am in love with hip hop and overall the italian one that arrives to some peak of meaningfulness that i cannot find in hip hop of any other language.

For what concerns books there are some readings that have utterly changed my life. I will just list here the three most significant ones:
Adler - What life should really mean to you
Smith - The world's religions
Kerouac - On the road

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have managed to change myself utterly, completel changing my life. I started living as first character, not worrying about anyone's judgment and really understading who I was and what I wanted to do, what were my values and how could I ever find an optimal way to live in this world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some italian, how to make proper pasta, I could teach you english in case and I can introduce you to the wonderful world of my music.

I could also share with you my knowledge about psychology, in history and literature.
