About Me

I am both a quite talkative and reflexive person. I love to plan travels around the world and to visit new places with some friends or even alone. I graduated in Biology but right now I usually work with numbers and tables on my computer all the time for my job, so at the end of the day I really need to chill out and chat with someone to free my mind!

CURRENT MISSION: I am planning to visit China in Summer 2020! So, should you have any advice for me, please speak up!

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
- I live and host in Modena and NOT in Bologna (sometimes people visiting Bologna contact me by mistake to be hosted)
- I can host only 1 person (no couples nor small groups) for max. 2 days
- You will NOT be given keys, you will be allowed to stay at my place only while I am home

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hope to meet new people all around the world, to learn about their countries and their stories! I am also very interested in foreign countries and cultures, I enjoy planning trips abroad and always try to keep updated my "must-to-see" travel list with new destinations. I am sure that you can suggest some wonderful places that you have already visited!

Music, Movies, and Books

- MOVIES: I will be more than happy to tell you about my favourite movies if you are curious to know (but right now I don't feel like making a top 10 list...!).
- MUSIC: from classical to rock, from Ed Sheeran to Nightwish, but jazz and house are absolutely out of my interests.
- BOOKS: I used to read more when I was younger, also because I am currently having some difficulties to find interesting readings... Right now I am reading an old Haruki Murakami's book...by the way, I enjoyed very much reading "Siddharta", "A series of unfortunate events", "His Dark Materials", "The Da Vinci Code" and subsequent books, "I, Robot".
- TV SERIES: should I have to spend one week on my sofa, I would definitely see again "La Casa de Papel", "Vikings", "Game of Thrones", "How I Met Your Mother", "Glee", "Penny Dreadful", "Hill's House", "Scrubs", "How To Get Away With Murder", "Sherlock", "Iron Fist" and "Modern Family" (ok probably one week won't be enough!).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I visited New York in less than 48 hours...!
I had a dinner with courses and dishes based only on desserts and cakes.
Aaand...once I pulled the emergency brake lever on a train (yes, that lever).

Teach, Learn, Share

As a native speaker, I would be really happy to help you learn Italian. I can also speak English and Spanish. I am currently learning Chinese, but so far I can manage only basic sentences...!
I have been singing in a polyphonic choir for a few years (classical music can be really supercool): I am not a professional musician, but it's fun and I love it!
