Overview
About Me
I'm a fan of drama and comedy films from France and England, but I'm starting to become very fond of Brazilian films from the 70s (those guys were insane). I can't think of much more to say about me, so whenever I come up with something I'll add it here.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe CS enables a different way of travelling around the world, meeting interesting people and entangling ourselves with others, in contrast with most contemporary corporate tourism that isolates travelers from local communities.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Miles Davis´ Kind of blue
Movie: I don´t have a particular movie, but I dig Bergman and Rohmer
Books: Bengtson´s The Long Ships
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Today I learned to butcher a whole chicken. It was messy, but definitely worth it. Now I wont spend more money on pre-cut chicken. Something that I regard as incredible is the fact that I managed to hop on a horse to make the 4 hour-ride back to the village after spraining my ankle up in the Andes mountains a few years ago.
