About Me

Italian fella wanting to share experiences and fun all around the World. Once I would have loved to visit all the European capitals before my 35s, Well, it's kinda late now, but I'm not giving up , although Europe doesn't seem to stop growing, damn it! (I know what you're thinking, with Brexit I had a good one, but obviously I've already been in London several times)

I enjoy life and friendship, parties and fun as well as some peace and some moment by myself once in a while.
Oh, by the way, I'm gay. I don't really think that could be an issue but maybe for someone it is.. in that case, as they say, get over it! ;-)

I'm actually "homeless", I'm spending some time in Córdoba (Spain) for my third (yeah, third!) Erasmus+ Internship. After that I'll be travelling trough North America for a couple of months, and probaly ending up in Barcelona where I'd like to try to build something that looks like a proper life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've hosted several people during my almost 10 years old membership, and surfed myself in Sweden, USA and Greece. Really great experience so far. I love the philosophy underneth CS, and I'm trying to spread it between my friends. I think this is the best way to travel the world and discover things. You have of course to keep your mind open to new possibilities and unplanned things.. something I'm not really that good at, but I swear I'm trying to learn :)

Interests

Performing arts, theatre shows, musicals, movies, art, travel, literature, sport, social media, and basically anything is culture; that's because it used to be my field of work too, but I have recently decided to have a little changed and I got a nurse license so now I'm all focused on nursing people around!

Music, Movies, and Books

As I said, I live surrounded by culture and that includes of course music (pop/rock mostly, but I like a lot of different genders, and I totally love live events, festivals and concerts.. I try to attend as much as I can!), movies (independent, European movies and musicals), literature (I prefer nonfiction but lately I've started to get passionate about the great classics) and of course theater (prose, musical and opera).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've traveled in an old Russian truck -no tourists allowed- to go from Cienfuegos to Playa Rancho Luna, in Cuba (just two European guys and a bunch of Cuban people around us).
I've climbed and entered the Pyramid of Giza, on my hands and knees in a very small tunnel with a person in front of me and one behind... no panic/emergency exit at all!!
I worked a whole summer as Entertainer in Menorca (Baleares Islands - Spain) and that has been a great experience I'll remember forever.
An amazing 28th floor terrace aperitif in the middle of Midtown, New York City, and let's just say I had soooo much fun! lol

Teach, Learn, Share

Mostly I love good food (bit a cliché? just because I'm Italian? C'mon!) so I'd love to learn about new food habits and recepies, and of course to teach how to prepare the perfect Italian dish.. I have to admit it, I don't cook so often, lately I've become quite lazy about it, but I'm sure I can figure something out for you!
