About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Capturing all colors, all flavors, all tastes, all the cultures, customs, traditions, all nature, all the magic and all the wonders of the world within me!

ABOUT ME

...finished high school, I decided it was time for me to begin work; I was so weary of studying. And then 1, 2, 3...7 years managing (with another woman) a grocery store close to home. A quiet life, a secure job, but... maybe all was too quiet and safe. Thus, after a couple of months spent volunteering in Ecuador and having had time to think a lot along the Camino de Santiago, I decided to give up work, the place where I always grew up and in some way to "change my life". And so I started at the University of Trento with results not too hoped for. I do not know the slightest thing will happen to me after this experience (in a year I will have in hand a piece of paper called "Graduation") but I know that I will continue to run, see, touch, feel, live and meet people...all around the World.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to help myself with a sentence of José Saramago, to summarize my personal philosophy.
"Il viaggio non finisce mai. Solo i viaggiatori finiscono. Sempre. Il viaggiatore ritorna subito". (da Viaggio in Portogallo)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Unfortunately my house in Brescia doesn't allow me to host people (because is so small that me and my family seem almost not being able to stay all), and also the fact of living in Trento for rent with other guys, preclude me the possibility to accomodate, to know and to invite people passing from around the world. That's why despite being joined in Couchsurfing for a long time, I have scarcely contacts, if not just a few guys personally known outside of this great community.

But I really would like to try this experience, so comfortable, so beautiful and so fascinating...

Interests

...obviously travelling, hiking, free camping, sports, being with friends, meeting new people, watching a good movie or reading a book from which I can learn something... and maybe I love doing much more things, but now I don't like describe myself with these few sentences... ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

There are three interests that depending a lot on my mood.

About books, especially books of the South America (G.G.Marquez, F.Coloane, L.Sepulveda, D.Chavarria...). I've read several...about one for week for quite a few 'years, more or less steadily. But since I started University, for obvious reasons, I read much less...and I don't like this!

Film...any good movie that my friends recommended me, movies that I don't consider too trivial...in short, film from what I can learn something... New movies or old movies..it's not important...is the quality that counts. I hate Horror movies, Italian cinepanettoni, stupid movie criticized negatively by the various rankings on the web... I really like watching movies in original language, especially Spanish and English.

Music...it's depends a lot on how I feel. There are weeks that I do not hear anything and the others in which I like listening the Italian singers like F.De André, F.De Gregori, L.Dalla, F.Mannoia... There are others where I can listen relaxing music, Celtic music, natural sounds or similar... and more in which I listen international authors such as The Dubliners, Eddie Vedder, B.Springsteen ...

In short, for me... movies, books and music ... everything is relative!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first recent thing that comes to mind is... climb over a gate, while the snow fell silently to visit a cemetery a night in winter...

Teach, Learn, Share

"Nessuno nasce imparato," how say in Rome. What little I know, I've learned thanks to the people who have always surrounded me. I always tried to forget "the bad" that each of us (I think) has inevitably encountered during "the journey". What little I know I was given, I learned day by day... is the simplicity, naturalness, the desire to move, touch, live and dream... are what I carry inside me and that I would somehow be able to leave somewhere in this our crazy world.
