Hi, i'm Fabiola.
I'm a 21 years old girl. I am from Italy i'm studying for a Bachelor program in Geneva, Switzerland, but i'm currently living in Brazil.
I'm gonna spend an exchange year here in South America, and so far, so good!

As you probably realised, i kind of like travelling, getting to know new people and new cultures.

If there's something that i like more than travelling is probably getting to know people!
I believe that working for a social project is more motivating than anything else.

As i said, i like travelling and getting to know new people, but i don't like to be seen as the typical turist that what to spend her money in cool and snobby places full of of other turists.
I would like to get to know Brazil differently, for example working as a volunteer in a non-profit organisations, organic farm and so on.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I entered in the Couchsurfing network because i heard many good opinions about it, and i would like to be part of it.
I love travelling , but i believe that the connections you made during your journey are more important that the journey in itself, or the destination you reached .
So, that's why Couchserfing!

Interests

I love getting to know different cultures, that's why, when i have the opportunity, i get my backpack and i leave towards a new experience.

I'm very curios about everything, i like asking questions to people, about life, passions, social issues, etc.. ( and not everyone likes it! LOL)

I love reading: books are a boat towards the infiniteness of the human mind.

I Love nature, it's very relaxing, peaceful and full of plants and new animals to discover.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like folk and popular music, but also rock , such as Beatles, Queen, U2 .

It's hard to find a favorite book , there are many that shaped and helped me to be the person i am today.
If i have to choose one, it would probably be the " Siddharta", by Hermann Hesse.
