About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To fall in love with every soul I cross paths with.
ABOUT ME
I take pleasure in simple things, like eating a pastry on a park bench on a beautiful day, or getting lost in a new city... I'm a happy, warm person and I love making friends. I can dance all night until the clubs close but equally enjoy a quiet evening at home. I like surrounding myself with interesting, creative people... artists, designers, rebels, dreamers, storytellers... I feel most at home with those who are a little different :)
I'm back home in San Diego after spending almost a year in Paris teaching English. I'm young and in love with life, working on adding to the adventures so I'll have some great stories to tell my grandchildren one day!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
If you happen to wander into my corner of the universe I will be happy to show you around! San Diego is wonderful - amazing nightlife, beautiful people, great weather... all the best things about Southern California in one city!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am still relatively new to couchsurfing, but from my experience there is no better way to understand a place and its people than to see it from the eyes of a local. I love that couchsurfing provides people such a unique, intimate way to access each other's cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of my favorite travel memories is from my trip to Japan. A group of us had been traveling together and one evening we were all sitting around in the hot springs on Mount Tsukuba. Hot steam was rising up around us while rain began to drizzle on top of us very softly. Miles away in the distance, we watched dark rain clouds gather over Tokyo... we watched as the storm traveled across the horizon, lightning bolts striking the ground now and then with loud booms of thunder... It was so surreal and beautiful.
Another memory is from my trip to Morocco. We were on an excursion from Marrakech to Fez in the Mergouza desert. We had been sitting in silence watching the sun set on the dunes. The shadows on the sand grew darker and darker until the first of the evening stars appeared. We hopped onto our camels and followed our Berber guide as he started leading us back towards camp. We didn't know where we were going and had to trust his knowledge of the desert to lead us back us as the sky became pitch black... we surrendered ourselves to not knowing, of being ignorant of time and location. The stars were brilliant and made us feel so small out there in the middle of nowhere.
