About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To visit 30 countries by the time I'm 30. I'm nearly there!

ABOUT ME

I'm a 27 years old Brazilian guy, currently living in Shenzhen, China, where I work as marketer for a gaming company. Yes, my job is to work with games.

I'm just trying to make the best out of my time in Asia, travelling as often as my job (ahem..money) allows, meeting new and interesting people at every corner and looking for a good time.

PHILOSOPHY

the world is a book, and those who do not travel only read the first page! (cheesy, I know, but isn't true?)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted a few times. Haven't had the chance to do any surfing myself yet thought, but very much looking forward to this day!

Interests

Travelling, although that is kind of implied, ey?
Music, like, so much.. I can talk about it for hours. Same goes for TV shows. I have watched over 60 shows in 2015 alone.
Pop culture in general. I can talk about Banksy new paint or Kim K new beauty tip. Yes, I can be that broad/shallow.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: the list is too big, but I can say I really love the ones from Lars von Trier, Tarantino, Almodovar, David Lynch, Julio Medem and Kubrick
Music: indie rock, indie pop, rock, blues, chillwave. I have a Spotify account with really cool playlists.. or so I've been told.
Books: 1984, The catcher in the rye, 100 años de soledad

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've met Madonna while working as a room service attendant for a 5 star hotel in England. It was actually more of a one-sided conversation, where I was the guy delivering the tea and cookies (and shaking like hell because...MADONNA) and she the guest who could not be bothered with my fangirling.

Still pretty sweet though.
