CURRENT MISSION

I am off to Berlin to explore the historic city's vibrant punk rock and art scenes, as well as to connect with some collective art/music spaces for research for a project at home here in Oakland...

ABOUT ME

I have only used Couch Surfing a few times,so i hope to not be judged solely by my experiences here. I will be turning 28 shortly before i take off on this journey. I am very interested in the arts. I have a degree in art, and play drums for a couple of different music projects. I DJ punk rock tunes at a bar in Oakland. I like to rock climb, read, take naps, and plan to start a collective arts space here in Oakland for children and adults to have studio space and instructors free of charge... I love nature and kids and going to shows.

I enjoy books about eastern philosophies, Salinger, Vonnegut, Bukowski, and Alan Watts. I like great movies, including EVERY single Turkish rip-off ever made.
I enjoy music immensely, and will share my music with you.

Had an enlightened/weighted moment of consciousness on a mountain near an eleven-hundred year old Buddha statue and shrine over looking Seoul. Then ate soup and got intoxicated with the locals. That was pretty amazing....

I am experienced in non profit community organizing, and I love art. Those are my two main channels. I love to motivate through creative means. I will be at the front of a movement very soon. I have not decided this movement.
I would like you to help me in large scale visual communication in the city. Think cryptic symbolism used as satirical critique or call to action.
We can and should draw together.
