About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy life as it comes and explore the worlds magnificence along the way.
ABOUT ME
I would guess people see me as a person who is easygoing, open-minded, down to earth, enthusiastic and straightforward. I love to joke around, but always down for for a good conversation on whatever makes the world go round when the time is there.
PHILOSOPHY
Keep on to whatever makes you tick.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am a rather passive participant of couchsurfing. I don't really have the space to host, because I live in a tiny students flat, but when traveling I do try to use it as much as I can. It's a great way to meet interesting and cool people via this medium!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I started couchsurfing when I was traveling in central-America and my first experience was great! Since then I have been hooked and wherever I go I try to meet stay at local's place, because it makes the visit 1000times better!
Interests
At home I am a student of Spatial & Environmental Planning in Europe, Nijmegen, but traveling is what I love to do the most. I am always eager to meet new people and interested in discovering new things and places. Furthermore I love to be in nature, but excited for the urges of a city and passionate for drinks & food, friends & good company, cooking, (card)games, music, art & culture, festivals, sports and adventure.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am very passionate about music and I would say that I can listen to any kind of music as long as it is made with love for the sound and not purely commercially produced. I mostly listen (indie)rock, folk, electronic (instrumental/experimental techno), both classics and classical music. But my interests definitely expand this sum.
Some examples: Alt-J, Angus & Julia Stone, Bonobo, Jagwar Ma, the Beatles, Jose Gonzalez, Netwon Faulkner, Nils Frahm, The Knife, Ludovico Einaudi, The Lumineers, Modest Mouse, The National, Nicolas Jaar, Patrick Watson, Radiohead, Phoenix, Regina Spektor, Fleetwood Mac, The Shins, Spoon, The Tallest Man on Earth, Extrawelt, The Veils, Gabriel Ananda, The Cure and so on.
Surely I watch films but I can't say that this is the way I spend my days and that I have one favorite film. I do like to watch art-house films, but it all depends on my mood.
For books, I intend to read multiple books at the time, differing in gravity. This goes from comics, to academic literature and novels. International favorites are Haruki Murakami and Jonathan Franzen.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Visiting the beauty of Lanquin and Semuc Champey in Guatemala. I love to be in nature and the untouched and wild nature here really left me, so to say, awestruck. Most beautiful place I've seen during my travel in Central America.
Most interesting place I've been must be is Cuba. The controversies that lie within the country are just incredible.
