Overview
About Me
I'm an experience designer for a hospital and love my job. I invented a card game: it's called "BrainSpin" and it's probably for sale in your local game store. I'm a great listener. :) My wife is a green building specialist. We are vegetarian.
Je prefere accueillir des voyageurs français parce que j'ai habité à Lyon et Bretagne en 2015.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As a traveler, I'd rather spend my travel $ taking a new friend out to dinner (I can usually take you to the nicest place in town) than sleeping in a boring old hotel.
Quand je suis l'hôte, je veut offrir d'hospitalité à des voyageurs français, et pratiquer parler la plus belle langue, français (j'ai besoin de pratiquer, bien sûr).
Interests
I love street performance, olive oil, and backpacking.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books:
I'm a huge fan of John Steinbeck; his book "The Moon Is Down" is my all-time favorite. I also love Robert Heinlein, especially "Stranger in a Strange Land." I recently read "Being Mortal," by Dr. Atul Gawande, and I couldn't stop talking about it.
Music:
I love punk rock (The Vandals, The Distillers); dubstep (RJD2, Mimosa), and blues rock (Black Keys, Ratatat).
Movies:
I'm always up for The Princess Bride; Madagascar 3, or Peaky Blinders on Netflix.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
+ Operated a piledriving rig
+ Found an arrowhead from 3000 BC in Brittany, France
+ Taught a dozen 10-year-olds to canoe, then took them out to collect trash on the Potomac river
