ABOUT ME

Let's see... I have a strong sense of humour (even a dark one, at times), and I'm happy to talk about the most various topics with the most peculiar kind of people. I like to hang out, have a drink together, and maybe stay up chatting all night, if the talking is good.
When I'm alone I enjoy quiet evenings as well, with a book or a movie, but I'm ready to change my plans if something interesting gets in the way.

PHILOSOPHY

I think the most important thing in life is taking care of yourself, and the things that make your life worth living. Including other people, of course.

Centres d'intérêt

My first, true love is literature, in the broadest sense. I'm an eager reader, and I built my professional life around reading and writing.
I'm very much into music as well (I play guitar and bass guitar), and I'm a cinema lover.
I love going for walks, riding around on my scooter, eating out, playing football and watching football games.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

From Bach to Squarepusher, I'd say.

As for movies, everything by Welles, Kubrick, Lynch, Bresson. And a lot more.

Books, well, this is a huge one. Let's say that I have a special love for the most troubled ones (Faulkner, Céline, Artaud, Leopardi, Kafka, Dostoevskij etc).

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

Well, I teach in high school, and I used to teach Italian at the University, back in London, so I may be of some use to anyone who wants to learn a bit of this beautiful and useless language :)
Also, I have a strong interest in the arts (see above).
