About Me

Well.. I'm young, courious, interested in all kinds of things and I love meeting people and making new experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My mother introduced me to couchsurfing - joined her for a couple of days CS in Paris. It is a great way to travel and meet people. It was so nice to be with locals!
It makes the whole travelling experience just so much richer when you get to know the "real life" of the place you visit.
Also it's always nice to have foreigners visiting your hometown, when you are stuck there - haha. It kind of brings the world out there closer to you, even if you can't travel. You always find some similarities and some differences of which you can learn from each other.

Interests

In general I'm interested in people. On how they live, how they learn, the different cultures. I'm always amazed by how huge this planet is and how many different ways there are to live once life.

Music, Movies, and Books

One of the most important things in my life is music - I can't imagine a life without it. Actually I like a lot of different styles of music, but Rock, Indie, Alternative and folk I like the most.
- Asgeir, Foals, Villagers, Alt-J, The XX, Austra, London Grammar, Beach House, Florence and the Machine... to only name a FEW! of a lot of truly great musicians.

I like movies which challenge me, makes me reflect myself and society...
I like deep/dramatic movies (f.e. American Beauty, the boy in the triped pyjama, magnolia), movies that contain black humor (f.e. Adam's Apples), movies by woody allen (whatever works) and tim burton (charlie and the chocolate factory).

Sometimes I don't read at all, and then I have times where I read one book after the other .
For escaping from reality I read thrillers or other fictional books.
Sometimes I read philosophical, or political stuff.. now for exampel I'm really interested in the situation in the middle east.
