I´m Facundo, a 31 year old guy from Argentina. I'm currently living in Rosario, the second largest city in Argentina. I'm a travel blogger, journalist and I have my own radio show where I talk about traveling and tourism.

I travelled for 3 year between 2013 and 2016. My journey began in November 2013, when I left my hometown and moved to New Zealand.

I spent a great year with the Working Holiday Visa, meeting people from all over the world. After that, I travelled around Asia for a couple of months, before moving to Australia to start a new living experience. I stayed in Melbourne for seven months working and enjoying my time. Then, I moved to a small town in the middle of the desert to get a perspective of the less known face of Australia.

In January 2016 I grabbed my pack again and started an eleven month journey in three continents, getting to know places I used to dream of and many more.

In November 2016 I came back home in Argentina, where I'm currently living while evaluating new destinations.

The best way to get to know a place it´s through its people, and I think Couchsurfing is a powerfull tool to have contact with locals. As hosts, it's great to meet new people and share life experiences, shaking off the rutine a little bit.

兴趣

I love reading, watching TV series and movies, playing tennis, listening to music and travelling. I also enjoy writing, so I wrote a book with the best stories of my trip. You can check it out at diasderuta.com.

I like to listen all kind of music, depending on the ocassion.

Regarding movies, my favourites are Inception, The Dark Knight, Star Wars and argentineans films in general.

On the other hand, the TV series I like the most are Westworld, Peaky Blinders, Gomorra, Borgen, Bron/Broen and others.

Finally, I really enjoy reading. Some of my favourites authors are Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Keigo Higashino, Osvaldo Soriano and others.

-During winter time, I crossed Russia in the Trans-Siberian train.
-I travelled around the world for 3 years, visiting more than 40 countries.
