We are a young couple from Argentina. We decided to quit our jobs and try a different lifestyle travelling around the world. Si far, we have been traveling for 1 year. Our first stop was the West Coast of The United States, followed by Sydney and some others cities in Australia for at least 1 year time. We are heading towards south Asia for a couple of months and we are still working on what comes after that.

Facu worked at a bank and at an Australia insurance company and Di at a german company in international trade.

We are both 26 years old and have been together for nine years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We believe that the concept of inviting a foreign person to your home or meeting up with someone from a different country is a great philosophy of life and can mean mutual benefits plus is some much more fun!

Interests

Facu is a lawyer but also loves water sports. He is training to become a kitesurfing instructor so he's all about the beach and the sea. Also he's an amazing swimmer with a couple of medalls to prove it!

Diana is a political scientist, kind of a geek and intelectual, loves reading and sketching. Also practices kung fu and yoga to stay fit and can kick some ass if you need her to!

Music, Movies, and Books

We both enjoy listenting to british rock and indie. One of our favourite bands are Arctic Monkeys and The kooks. Also some american bands like The Black Keys!

Action films take place in our usual friday movie night, but we also enojoy something with a more interesting plot and a bit less blockbuster.

We also like stand up comedy and improvised comedy.

Teach, Learn, Share

We have friends from other countries so we are used to teaching and learning a language at the same time, which is the most fun way !

We are very open minded and hope to encourage that part of ourselves while travelling. We truly enjoy spending time with people from another culture and creating meaningful moments.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We are eager to get to know you and there are a lot of things we know how to do to make sure you enjoy hosting us:
1) if you want to learn some spanish we as argentinians speak with THE BEST accent no question about it!
2) we r pretty decent cooks and are happy to cook some traditional meals for you
3) we listen to a great variety of music so cool playlist guaranteed!
4) we dont know how to tango but we can try.
5) we r nice educated people so many topics are open for discussion, you won't be bored
6) Facu is very handy for any kind of work you need around the house.
7) Di has worked as a teacher so you can enjoy having your own spanish tutor right at home!
