My real name is Gerald Gattis, but I put my facebook name on here for some silly reason. Born in Baton Rouge, LA, moved to Tennessee at a young age. Traveled after high school, went to rainbow gatherings, got into swordfighting (SCA, Dagorhir, Belegarth). Held more jobs than I can remember. I was raised by my mother, sisters, and aunts. I love helping people, with anything from dishes to emotional problems. I try to spread any wisdom I have wherever I go, and the love and worldview which sustains me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My girlfriend, Nakayah Box, whom I live with, has hosted a bunch of surfers in the past. It has been pretty cool. She has been telling me I should make a profile for some time. Now I find myself gifted a ticket to burning man. I booked a room for a few nights, but I thought that this would be a better way to meet people,
