ABOUT ME

I'm not great at self-description, but I'll try my best: I'm easy-going and cheerful and always try to see the positive in everyone and everything. I'm a bit shy but I'm working on being more outgoing and adventurous. I recently completed a bachelors degree in anthropology, though I still haven't quite decided what I want to do with that in terms of a career. I love to travel, and my goal in life is to see as much of the world as I can. Anything else you want to know, feel free to ask =)

I have surfed quite a lot of couches around the world =) I also try to get to local meetings when I can. Someday I should be able to start hosting as well!

I've met some really great people through couchsurfing, and it's so great to get local advice about what to do in a new place!

Interests

I'm a bit of a geek, I like superheroes and video games and fantasy stories. I love history - being able to attach the things I read about to real places is one of my favorite parts of travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books

I always have trouble thinking up specific examples, so I'll just try to give a general feel for what I like: I have fairly eclectic tastes when it comes to music, I'll try anything and probably enjoy it. With books I tend to prefer the fantasy genre, and I also occasionally read comics. And for movies I usually prefer epic adventure type stories or heartwarming animated films. Also musicals - I absolutely love musicals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's hard to think of just a couple things that were more amazing than the rest - I've always read about far-off places and finally getting out into the world and seeing them is the greatest feeling for me.

Learning to scuba dive in Thailand was pretty awesome.

I enjoy learning about anything, really. I don't know what I've got to teach but I'll always do my best to share what I know.
