About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm an architecture student from Canada currently living a rather nomadic life. Every few months, I move away and explore a whole new city. I'm new to CouchSurfing, and hope that this will be a great opportunity to meet people from various cultures and backgrounds.
PHILOSOPHY
By learning about others, you learn more about yourself.
Always embrace every challenge that comes your way and use it as a way to become a stronger person.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm looking to use this not only to find accommodations, but also as a way of learning about a city from its locals while I'm travelling and making new friends. I would love for you to tell me what your favourite experiences of your own city are and also your own travel stories!
Because I'm currently only renting a small room in whatever city I happen to be living in, I can't really host anyone. However, if you're up for coffee or a good meal, feel free to drop by!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None directly from CouchSurfing yet, but hopefully will get started soon! :)
Interests
I love cooking and trying out new recipes. Naturally, as an architecture student, I am fascinated by history, art and design. I can spend hours after hours just reading books about anything and everything, or surfing Wikipedia about the most random topics. My idea of a good time is great conversation, good wine, delicious food and wonderful music.
Other things I enjoy:
-Museums, churches and other buildings
-Canoeing
-Football
And most of all, traveling!
- arts
- books
- architecture
- design
- dancing
- dining
- cooking

- wine
- coffee

- socializing
- music

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy classical music, but also like to listen to good indie rock and pop. I'm open to all genres, so even if it's not what I'd normally listen to, I'd still love to hear your recommendations.
My favourite book at the moment is Ildefonso Falcones' Cathedral of the Sea. It's the reason I'm so excited to visit Barcelona later this year. Books are generally my inspiration for traveling.
No particular favourite film at the moment, but if you have a good film to recommend, let me know! I especially love historical drams and documentaries.
I haven't had too much time to really follow any TV series, but when I have some downtime, I like to catch an episode or two of White Collar, Community and The Big Bang Theory.
