ABOUT ME

I'm Amanda. I hate text boxes that require self descriptions and are reminiscent of personal ads, and it's hard to define myself being that I'm kind of a mixed bag that is continually evolving. The constants do remain that I am friendly, superbly laid back, easy going, adventurous, spontaneous, down to earth etcetcetc and so on.

I am also permanently addicted to travel (basically at junkie status), meeting new interesting people and the good times.

PHILOSOPHY

Cocked, locked and ready-to-rock. Rough, tough and hard to bluff. I take it slow, I go with the flow, I ride with the tide. I’ve got glide in my stride. Drivin and movin, sailin and spinin, jiving and groovin, wailin and winnin. I don’t snooze, so I don’t lose. I keep the pedal to the metal and the rubber on the road. I party hearty and lunch time is crunch time. I’m hangin in, there ain’t no doubt and I’m hangin tough, over and out!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm relatively new to the couch surfing scene, but after having been fortunate enough to travel a lot in my life and particularly the last few months, I have come to greatly appreciate both accommodation in other countries/cities and the gracious people that provide it. I see my participation as a great opportunity to meet and interact with new interesting people around the globe, and I'd love to host more often.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None specifically through couchsurfing, yet. Currently surfing lots of friend's couches and futons in between coming back from a 3.5 month backpacking stint and moving to Toronto.

Interests

cutting my bangs/not cutting my bangs, travel, dancing, pressing buttons and turning knobs, good conversation, sarcasm, books about books, food that is delicious, ufo's, trying not to be inappropriate at appropriate times, decent banter, extra dirty vodka martinis, quick wit, richard branson, music, going on adventures, taking naps and running victory laps, the good times and whatever's clever.
