Hi, I’m Fahim Sayed a.k.a cameranomad.

I’ve a camera, I wander and I take pictures. Sometimes for money, but mostly just because I love to.

My dad was really fond of photography. He had couple of these automatic film cameras. He’d click pictures of everyone on every occasion. However; I hated, when he clicked picture of me. While I’m playing or crying; especially I hated the pictures clicked whilst eating. But then, when I looked at those pictures, I’d be like ‘I can do better than that’. For reasons unknown, I never actually tried clicking pictures then. It wasn’t until few years back when I was introduced to a DSLR camera by a friend. He was learning photography and he used to teach me some basics.

One day I just picked up his camera and went on a stroll. I came back with few interesting pictures. Soon after that I bought my first camera a Nikon D60. I’ve been learning since then. Recently, I gave up my well paying full time job to pursue my future in photography. It wasn’t an easy decision to make, there was lot of opposition and I feared the future. But creating pictures made me happy, so I chose happiness.

I’m continually working on personal projects. Always thinking about new ideas for projects and places to travel. I love travelling, meet new people on the way, see new things. All these develop into new ideas, new traits, new friends and most importantly new pictures. More you travel, more you learn.
