About Me

CURRENT MISSION

studying landscape ecology and nature conservation and....

ABOUT ME

I've just finished my Bachelor in Landscape Ecology and Nature Conservation, am open-minded and always prepared for a laugh, I live in a community with about 26 other people, and try to travel as often as I can, mainly hitch-hiking or at least without using a plane (which is a lie because I recently flew to Kyrgyzstan...bloody airmiles...)...

I love the great outdoors, especially mountains, but even the Baltic Sea and its flat surroundings can be wonderfully engrossing...

I love sheer silence, when a gentle pressure on the ears makes them feel as if they were stuffed with cotton balls...

...and then again I like the hustle and bustle of my life with all the people around me, nagging, shouting, screaming, laughing and just being the way they are!

Life is a Lobster

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

not fantastic, however very impressive: during our excursion to Uzbekistan we visited the city of Mo'ynok, a former seaport. The ship-graveyard there was distressing; evidence fo a disastrous ecological catastrophy. Two years later I also got to see the remains of the Aral Sea when we flew over t during the day. On the sam trip we saw hug glaciers from above in Georgia and got to hear jackals by night...

Teach, Learn, Share

since I rarely leave the house without my knitting, I'd be happy to share any kind of knitting experience :), as well as gaining some more knowledge about it!
