About Me

PLEASE READ:

***I can no longer host***

I have given up my flat in London and am a global little nomad now..

Happy travels friends! 💕

CURRENT MISSION

My high school book mission statement (what do you want to do when you leave) was 'Meet as many people from around the world as possible'. Now I would add, to learn from as many people and life experiences as possible, speading magic vibes along the way.

ABOUT ME

I think I was born with wondering feet and growing up, whenever I heard someone with a different accent, a little bubble of excitement erupted inside. It wasn't till I was 22 that I found myself solo backpacking in Asia, freaking out and LOVING every second.

I am so lucky to now have an extended travel family across the globe who have taught me so much; compassion, love, kindness, different ways to be in this world. In some ways starting to travel in lesser developed countries helped me 'unlearn' the focus on I and return to the focus of us. Everyone is just a reflection of ourselves.

PHILOSOPHY

See, do, learn as much as possible without harming others. 'Pay it Forward' is one of my favorite movies and Hafiz one of my favorite poets...

'The SubjectTonight is Love'

'The subject tonight is Love
As a matter of fact
I know of no better topic
For us to discuss
Until we all
Die'

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel 6-7 months of the year and mostly unplanned, so it's difficult to host anyone in advance. I'm happy to meet up and show people around town esp. Notting Hill (Portobello Markets), Camden and Central London .

I have hosted people from USA, UK, Sri Lanka, Australia, Ireland, Italy, Canada, Poland and many other countries and have also had people stay in my flat while I travelled. I am also a member of Hospitality Club and Host a Sister.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've travelled and stayed with new friends through couchsurfing or hospitality club in Egypt, Mexico, Morocco, Croatia, Brazil, Sweden, Austria and Serbia.

Psychological thrillers, martial arts, animation movies rom-coms and foreign films.

Travel, mystery, si-fi, mind/body/spirit consciousness books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I did was was to go travelling in Burma wearing the local longyi (skirt) and shirt with just a change of clothing in a small local bag, along with my passport, money, toothbrush, toothpaste and tanaka for my face.

Passing as a local I travelled for almost 2 weeks from Yangoon to Mandalay, Pagan and Inle Lakes before retuning to Yangoon to continue teaching for a month.

At 22, new to backpacking, these were some of the most exciting, heart warming, unforgettable experiences I never imagined possible.

Teach, Learn, Share

Every time I think I know something, I have to start again.. Happy to share what I have, learn what I can.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Happy to share what I have, help cook or make a meal for us, help with any physical pain (therapist) entertain the dog, cat, snake, kids, mostly share experiences 💕
