Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It was a cold night outside JR Nara Station in the last few days of March '19. This was my first trip to Japan. I ran to the nearby 7-Eleven and saw a fellow foreigner fighting the cold. Wondering why such a pretty lady was waiting out there in the windy night, I decided to try to talk to her. I turns out that she was waiting for her Japanese hosts in Nara... And it was from then on that I found out about Couchsurfing.

Interests

I used to run plenty. Used to always be training for half marathons. Now I'm not as fit as I was. I wish I can lose weight and improve my fitness.

I like hiking and just being able to see the scenery. I like to walk and hike long distances that it becomes a workout. Hiking is also fun as I get to enjoy nature along the way.
My most memorable hike was when I hiked the entire Yagyu-Kaido trail from Nara Park.

I like to watch anime and read manga. I have Netflix, but most of the shows that I watch on Netflix are anime.

I like playing board games too. Some of my favourite games are Fluxx, Azul, Tokaido, Coup etc.
I enjoy playing a PC game called Europa Universalis IV from Paradox Interactive. Never played as a European nation, aside from the Ottomans.

Unicycling is one of my passions. I've slowly worked my way up to a 36 inch unicycle. I enjoy going far with my unicycle.
