About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to see as much of this fine planet as possible before that other big adventure

ABOUT ME

I grew up with hippies surfing the North Shore of Oahu and currently call Colorado my home. I work and live on 6 acres of land that is undergoing an incredible transformation into a self-sustaining/off the grid homestead. My 3 favorite "most enjoyables": (1) my kids!!! (2) dancing (3) travel. The 4th would have to be interacting with folks from all over (and cooking yummy vegetarian meals community style).

PHILOSOPHY

Live life fully baby!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Never an observer; always a participant. The space offered here on the farm is a big comfy couch in the main house. We have a working farm with chickens, goats, barn cats, and a dog. If you are interested in participating in what we have going on, all you have to do is say so.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't "officially" used this site (yet) as I've been traveling to places where I fortunately already have friends.

Interests

Preparing for the apocalypse. Seriously. Investigating alternative energies/fuels, alt. currencies, seed exchange, self-sustaining growing methods, water and air purification. And on a lighter note: enjoying life to it's very fullest each and every moment!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is my religion, plain and simple.

I love all kinds of movies, depending on the weather. Mad Max & Tank Girl are my all time favorites.

Currently reading "Satsun"...about a lady who moved to Belize in the 70's and studies ancient medicine techniques under a shaman.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing view: on top of the Mayan Ruins at Tikal, Guatemala; Winter Solstice 2006. 365 degrees of open clear skies above a sea of green -the roof of the jungle - oh man! The sun set and bazillions of stars came out. It was breathtaking. I'd never seen anything like it.

Teach, Learn, Share

There are no coincidences.

Do you have knowledge about alternative currencies, sustainable growing methods, or other items related to preparing for the apocalypse?

Countries I’ve Visited
