I love to make art, play music, cook with friends, make stuff, read books! I have a BFA from Concordia University in Painting and Drawing and a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from Dalhousie.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The communal house I live in Montreal has hosted a few couchsurfers, and I have been surfing in Quebec City, Ireland, and Mexico.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed at people's houses a few times, and had many couchsurfers (both unofficial and official) at different apartments I have lived at. Most of them were not from my couchsurfing account, or were just through friends.

Centres d'intérêt

Laughing, hanging out with good friends, meeting strangers. I like doing lots of different things, usually all at the same time! I like drawing comics, making gourd banjos, painting children, biking a lot, learning a new irish and gypsy tunes on my fiddle, making wine, carving spoons, gardening, and a bunch of other things.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I am a bit of a reading addict as it is an escape for me. Two of my longstanding favourites are " No Language is Neutral" by Dionne Brand "Blood Wedding" by Federico Garcia Lorca. I have a lot of other favourite books, rotating constantly... Lately I have been reading a lot of graphic novels. Some of my favourite graphic authors right now are Lynda Barry, Aisha Franz, Julie Delporte, Aidan Koch. I listen to a lot of old time and bluegrass music right now.

I am pretty good at cooking vegetarian food. I could teach irish tunes, drawing maybe...

I can share stories, I like sharing food, music, sweaters, I could draw you a portrait of yourself riding a dragon made of sushi with your hair on fire if that's what you are into or whatever
