Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Initially, I had no idea what to expect for my very first couchsurfing experience, but it far exceeded my expectation in every positive way. It was an amazing experience getting to know a local, learning everything they have to share about the local area, listening to their stories, travel with them, exchanging cultures and so on. From then on, I am really excited to Couchsurf more in order to have the best travelling experience, which is to stay with a local!

I also love to meet new people, listen to their stories, learn from their experiences, the world we live in is just so diverse and unique.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to Lyon, France completely alone and lived there for 4 months to learn French, had the best moment of my life.

Drove a 1000km, 5 days roadtrip through Banff, Yoho, and Jasper National Parks in Canada!

Went to China to study at 18 years old alone with a fully-funded scholarship!

I have solo travelled in Canada (Montréal, Ottawa, Québec City, Toronto) and China (Yunnan, Hangzhou, Suzhou).

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can teach you some Mandarin (I study in China) , some YouTube editing skills (I used to be a YouTube with over 26k subscribers and 1 million total views).

Learn: Learn from anything you’re willing to share, the culture, the food, your stories.

Share: I can make and have you try some Malaysian snacks/dessert, which we call “Kuih Muih”. It is really delicious!
